Obama Wins Florida and basically cinches the Presidency

We now project that Obama will win Florida based on the assessment of NBC, CNN, and CBS polls.

Obama wins Florida -- Barely.

He will be the next president of the United States. There is really no way that McCain can win.

McCain wins Texas - No surprise

Not a big deal for Obama. McCain wins Texas.

Buy an Palin Mask! Last Chance!

Will Palin be in the national spot light at all anymore after tonight?

Is it time to buyt the Halloween Mask?

Fox News says that Obama wins Ohio

There is almost no way for McCain to win now since Pa and Ohio have gone to Obama.

Palin Cleared of Ethics Charges - Too Little Too Late?

Is trooper-gate over?

This does not seem to jive with the earlier report that she acted unethically.

Just in.  Sarah Palin cleared for ethics violations.

Nice timing!

Released Monday, the report says there is no probable cause to believe Palin or any other state official violated the Alaska Executive Ethics Act in connection with the firing. The report was prepared by Timothy Petumenos, an independent counsel for the Alaska Personnel Board.

New Zogby Poll: Obama 50.9% McCain 43.8

Obama is surging in the 2nd to last Zogby tracking poll. It is the same poll that just two days ago gave the McCainites some hope because McCain polled better than Obama one day. That benefit has been erased.

"Barack Obama is where he needs to be and John McCain is not. In a multi-candidate race, assuming the minor candidates can win around 2%, 51% can win. Obama holds the groups that he needs and continues to hold a big lead among independents and his base. McCain seems to be holding his base without expanding it or moving into Obama's territory. "

Gallup Poll: Obama 52%, McCain 43%

Poll essential unchanged from yesterday.

Barack Obama leads John McCain by eight percentage points among “traditional likely voters,” 51% to 43%, with 5% undecided. His lead stretches to nine points among “expanded likely voters” and a theoretical 11 points among all eligible voters.

Obama's Financial Success vs the McCain Campaign Fund Redistributors

Yesterday the NY Times writes about the redrawing of the political map in the US. " The campaign’s final days brought a reminder of how Mr. Obama’s financial might had allowed him to redraw the political map."

The NY Times has it all wrong. Its Obama's message, intellect, charisma, and policies that have enabled him to gather more donations from more people than any other politician ever before. It was his ability to develop an enormous grass roots effort to enable so many people to feel apart of his campaign to be a part of his cause. He has earned the financial power to get his message out even further.

Having the Republican whine about Obama's financial success sound like they want to be redistributors of campaign funds! Are the republicans demanding campaign welfare????
